Postman interview questions5/29/2023 ![]() Though your experience will be completely different from area to area and whether you have a fixed walk or are doing cut offs. The job itself varies considerably from day-to-day depending on load and whether people are off sick. Also, what they tell you at induction is a load of ****e, and will be thrown out the window within 5 minutes of setting foot in the delivery office. Don't expect to find out soon, though! It took them 6 weeks from my interview to my start date. I'd previously worked for Royal Mail and FedEx (albeit sorting) so I was able to talk about quite a lot of relevant stuff. The interview was just generic questions, why did you apply, as above basically. Might be a bt late here, but I've been working as a postman contracted hours for 3 weeks now. For example When have you taken responsibility for something? Have you ever been faced with a particularly difficult situation? What are your strengths? How would you deal with a customer who is disappointed with the service provided? Be yourself, be confident and be enthausiastic. Meaning some very typical questions will be asked. The interview itself, I believe, is based around a generic form. Not too sure if they still do it but they used to use an independant company to validate applications (think they were heavily fined for employing illegally some years ago). When asked for 3 Document in section 2, take 4. To be sure you actually get to start the interview I would recommend, (for example)when asked for 2 documents from section A, take 3. Congrats for getting an interview! First make sure you take all the documentation asked for. What does the interview involve and what type of questions were you asked? Would appreciate any help. ![]() I just wanted to ask if anyone has had an interview for this position. Hi, I have an interview with the royal mail for the position of a postman next week. ![]()
